The Oregon Journalism Education Association serves student media advisers across the state. Our non-profit, volunteer-run association is by advisers for advisers with a simple mission to improve student journalism in Oregon, connect student media advisers, and showcase excellence.

As a member of OJEA, you and your students will have access to Fall Media Day — our signature event— which is hosted at the University of Oregon each fall. You will also be eligible for our annual awards: Journalist of the Year, Teacher of the Year, and Rookie Adviser of the Year. Member advisers earn free entries to the annual contest at the end of each year. Only OJEA members may vote in board elections.
